What is this “Please Shed-Less” everyone is talking about?

Does your pet shed excessively? Hair tumbleweeds driving you crazy? Our “Shed-Less” Upgrade is the talk of the town!

With owning double coated breeds ourselves, our staff has tried SO MANY different products. We have products we’ve agreed on that have made a huge impact in how our “De-Shed” process goes. This process is even Feline safe!

Our favorite part is that these product helps reduce your pets overall shedding over time. You may not notice a huge difference in reduction after the first visit or two, but we’ve gotten great feedback from lots of different breeds as time goes on.

Short coated pets can also benefit from our “Shed-Less”. Sometimes I think we get more hair off of a Boston Terrier than we do off of a Siberian Husky.

Our special Shampoo & Conditioner combination helps to open up your pets hair follicles, in turn allowing any hair that is ready to come out- let loose at once. This means less residual shedding between Grooming visits.

These products also help with severely impacted pets. Double coated breeds can sometimes be mistaken with being ‘matted’ when it’s truly a massive amount of shedding hair that is stuck and needs assistance in getting free. With an impacted coat, it is very hard for your pet to successfully insulate against hot and cold. Dry skin and dandruff are also very common underneath that impaction, as well as skin irritations.

With this upgrade, we include LOTS of extra brushing with a variety of brushes, as well as blow drying to help leave more hair in our salon than what you take home.  

Hair follicles do remain open for approximately 48 hours after your pets visit to our salon. This means extra shedding can sometimes be expected at home for up to 2 days. We do recommend paying extra attention to brushing for these two days to see the overall benefit of your pets “Shed-Less” visit.

All pets coats are different, our staff would love to help find the most appropriate brushes for your pets coat type.

Most pets that have experienced our “Please Shed-Less” Upgrade maintain the best quality coat condition on a 4 to 10 week schedule.
